From one ant to another: Good luck on the getting out of line goal!

I've been in the same mode for most of this year and one thing I am learning is that sometimes it's impossible to get out of the line, but possible to bring God into it.

I'm not very good at it yet, but talking to God or getting His perspective, or some momentary refreshment from the Spirit WHILE STILL MARCHING is difficult. But I've come to the realization that waiting until the weekend (or vacation!) to be able to step out of line, find some shade and ponder, is not very good for my soul.

The sad thing is (for my march anyway) is that if I keeled over and dropped out of the line, the line would keep right on marching regardless. At some point you just have to TAKE the time. The problem is WHEN. So you are right, finding balance is also key.

Let me know when you have the answer. I am waiting with baited breath!

I'm quite pleased that you gave my suit such an adventure packed time out of the drawer. Only a good sister would do that, showing such hospitality when it wasn't even your own. You set the bar high for my next bathing suit outing.

Wow. This is really powerful. I read it after just coming home from visiting the nursing facility this evening after dinner -- took the kids to visit, too. Three generations there, then read this blog.

Hi and thanks for sharing your sister/friendship. I love the photo too. It could be me and my sister!

I do a blog on Girlfriendship - Girlfriendology.com - inspiration, appreciation and celebration of friendship. I have inspiring blogs, podcasts, videos as well as contests, shopping, etc.

If you have a guest blog I could post or anything that I could share about you/your site, please let me know. My goal is to encourage female friendship and make the world a better place, one friendship at a time.

Thanks! Debba / Girlfriendology.com

p.s. If you'd like to share Girlfriendology.com with your readers, I'd really appreciate it. I have lots of prizes in my monthly contest (all you have to do is share a girlfriend story and you can win one of the 40+ books I have for prizes). Thanks again!
